The Queen Needs No Tears

She took the blame for her unfilial son who sold counterfeit medicine and went to prison for ten years; inside, she was also nearly brutally assassinated to silence her — He Zhongyi's wealthy-family life was torn apart by her husband and her own biological son with their own hands. Yet her family had all forgotten that back then she was the gangland empress whose name shook Chinatown! Over eight years, behind bars she killed the assassins in return, united the prison factions, and became the supreme one no one in the prison dared to cross. Regaining her freedom ahead of schedule, she takes her goddaughter Lin Qingci and bursts straight into a high-society banquet to collect her debts to her full satisfaction. Faced with the enterprise that has become a criminal cancer and the sponsored orphans whose lives are in peril, He Zhongyi reveals her hidden hand and launches a hell-level plan to clean house.
