Love Rebooted in 1980

In the rising and falling vortex of fate in the 1980s, the Lu sisters Lu Zhaoyan and Lu Qining pass through a cycle of life and death. In their previous life the elder sister married humble-born Kuang Yue and in the end became a rich wife, while the younger sister married the officer Ling Yu in glory, only to go mad and turn demonic after she was widowed as a newlywed. When bloodstained karma sends the two of them back to the starting point of time, the reborn Lu Qining is bent on seizing the humble-family marriage that was her elder sister's in their past life, not knowing that Kuang Yue's meteoric rise rested entirely on Zhaoyan's secret support, and still less expecting that she herself will repeat the fate of a Kuang-family daughter-in-law, long suffered and bullied. Lu Zhaoyan, who sees through cause and effect, calmly takes up the red thread of the military marriage that was her younger sister's in their past life, and with her memories of rebirth skillfully rewrites Ling Yu's fated life-and-death calamity. When she is living even more prosperously than in her previous life, the younger sister who snatched that humble marriage finally awakens to the truth, and some vicious thoughts surface once more in her mind...
