Story summary
Among old books left out to dry after the rain, Su He finds a letter addressed to the bookstore; the reading event it mentions is the very one Xu Yan canceled at the last minute back then. The letter's send date is a week earlier than the argument between the two of them, and only then does she learn that the cancellation was not directed at her invitation. The two contact the registrants who can still be found, refund the earlier payments, and explain what happened, letting this belated letter complete the reply it was owed.
