Story summary
While helping He Yuan tidy the living room, Wen Lan finds, behind the bookcase, a letter to an old business partner explaining his withdrawal from the partnership—stamped and ready, but never sent. The letter contains no blame, only work he could no longer carry. He Yuan finally contacts the partner to complete the outstanding handover, while Wen Lan adjusts the organizing checklist and sets aside the items that require his own decision; the emptied shelf space becomes the starting point for him to rearrange his life.
