Story summary
Ye Rui plans to confess to Du Qing at the end of a screening at the old cinema, but a test screening goes wrong and keeps the two busy until the theater empties, and she no longer wants to put this off to the next film. Once the handover is complete, she states her feelings directly, while Du Qing admits that for now he is better suited to staying friends. Ye Rui accepts the answer, cancels the two-person trip she had booked, and asks for a little distance; honesty did not lead to romance, but it ended the long guessing.
