Story summary
After the rain, the bookstore resumes business; Jiang He sends photos of new bookshelves to Wen Che far away, only to find that he did not even know the bookstore had relocated, their contact reduced to sporadic greetings. Rather than filling the silence with more photos, she explains her need to be involved in each other's daily lives. Wen Che admits that the time difference and work explain only part of the estrangement, and the two schedule a dedicated call to set aside real time to discuss whether to continue the long-distance relationship.
