Story summary
Lin Zhi and He Chuan maintain their relationship by watching a monthly film at an old cinema, but after the cinema temporarily suspends operations, their fixed routine is disrupted by a series of schedule changes. She realizes that what they discuss most is the next meeting, rarely talking about their present daily lives. He Chuan suggests exchanging ordinary diaries for a week, and ultimately they choose to alternate spending workdays in each other's cities to see whether shared life can withstand the mundanity beyond the silver screen.
