Story summary
Yu Zhi finishes work every evening just as Gu An heads to the night shift; despite living in the same neighborhood, they only ever exchange hurried words at the park entrance. A schedule adjustment eliminates even this brief encounter, prompting the two to discuss whether they can alter their rest arrangements. Ultimately, each sets aside a fixed half-day without requiring the other to chronically sacrifice sleep; the physical distance remains unchanged, but the time spent together is chosen with genuine intention for the first time.
