Story summary
As the final movie at the old cinema lets out, He Rui insists on fixing a broken display lamp in the lobby that night. After inspecting it, Gu Chuan points out that it does not affect closing safety and can be scheduled for daytime handling. Only then does she realize that she has always treated every unfinished task as a reason for not going home. The two record the malfunction, confirm the necessary checks, and leave on time. For the first time, the cinema does not stay lit until the early hours over a non-urgent minor matter, and the 'goodnight' at the entrance becomes a new work boundary.
