Story summary
Hearing a familiar whistle on the last bus, Lin Rui realizes that the person in the next seat is Zhou Che, a former photography partner who once shared a studio with her before abruptly moving away. She is preparing to sell off old equipment, while he carries the raw footage of an unfinished short film from back then. Over the final few stops, the two compare the timeline of their departures and discover that each had mistaken the other's silence for rejection, agreeing first to complete the crediting and handover of the footage.
