Story summary
When confessing to Luo Jin at dusk in the park, Xu Mu admits that she had treated every favor as a bargaining chip for a response, which gradually turned her affection into grievance. Luo Jin thanks her for her honesty, but states that gratitude cannot be treated as love. She decides to suspend the unpaid assistance while retaining her interest in the photography project itself; this confession that did not result in a match ultimately allows both parties to choose the parts they are genuinely willing to contribute.
