Story summary
Cheng Ning and Xu Nan only meet in the morning bakery—one busy taking loaves from the oven, the other rushing to set off—until, over time, even their arguments can only be written in order notes. When a misplaced delivery note nearly hands their private words to a customer, they realize this form of communication is no longer enough. The two designate one hour every week after closing specifically to talk about life, returning work receipts to work while leaving room for full sentences in their relationship.
