Story summary
Before departing, Tao Ning invites Xu Chuan to the station to see her off, but Xu Chuan happens to be leading a tour that cannot be canceled on short notice, so he can only hand over itinerary materials to her in advance. She momentarily takes his absence as disregard, but later decides to go watch the final stretch of his guided tour. After his work concludes, the two share a brief farewell; she goes to the station alone, having also learned to accept that a sincere invitation can be met with different forms of response.
