Story summary

Shen Wei is accustomed to waiting on a seaside bench for a long-distance letter, but after several nights without a reply, night-shift attendant Cheng Yue reminds her that nearby paths will soon close on schedule. She finally puts away her phone, takes an open, safe route home, and leaves the other person a message that requires no immediate reply.
