Story summary
Before moving, An He plays an old cassette tape and unexpectedly hears a deleted audition clip, subsequently inviting her longtime-unseen sound collaborator, Ji Chen, to the living room to check it. Following the failure of their old film, they had constantly argued over who made the wrong call. The full recording leads her to admit she had disregarded his advice, and leads him to confess that he had not held his ground back then; the two only agree to restore the archive, choosing not to hastily cover up old wounds with a new collaboration.
