Story summary
Fang Yue arrives at a post-rain bookstore to attend what was originally scheduled as a public sharing session, only to find just Xu Yan and two chairs remaining, making her worry that the event was an intentionally staged one-on-one meeting. After checking the cancellation notice, she realizes she had missed the group message. With mutual consent, the two still turn this meeting into a small-scale discussion and add written rules regarding event modifications; a book that was previously hard to get through gives them a reason to continue their conversation.
