Story summary
Wen He listens to ambient recordings made before moving in the lamplit living room and notices the neighboring clock chimes always lag a beat behind her memory; sound engineer Song Xu helps her locate the source of the acoustic reflections. They compare points along the windows and walls, sorting through the small habits formed during these years of living there along the way. In the end, she keeps only one minute of unedited audio and deletes the remaining duplicate files; those echoes no longer hold back the decision to move, instead becoming a small slice of life that can be carried forward.
