Story summary
Tao Rong hires someone to repair an old cabinet in her living room, and the person who arrives is Song Yue, her former partner with whom she lost contact after their business failed; the initial work roster is still pasted inside the cabinet door. While the old cabinet can be mended, the defunct studio cannot be brought back as it was. The two take stock of the tools they each retained, deciding to use them separately and rent to each other, letting a piece of furniture take on a new daily purpose rather than expecting a reunion to reopen the door to the past.
