Story summary
Ye Ting goes to the bakery to attend Xu Mu's first public tasting session, but receives an urgent shift scheduling notice early in the morning, facing the dual pressure of being late and failing to deliver promised support. She first explains that she cannot attend and then sends over the promised feedback as agreed, rather than leaving the other person waiting. After finishing his work, Xu Mu saves the trial batch records, and the two find another time to taste them; this time, the absence is not exaggerated into a sacrifice, nor does it become proof of estrangement.
