Story summary
Song Sui always receives Gu Yan's calls during the flower shop's busiest hours, and by the time she is free, the other has already gone to rest; gradually, both interpret unanswered calls as an unwillingness to respond. Filling out shift schedules together makes the time difference tangible, so they drop the expectation of answering at any moment and agree on separate channels for urgent matters and routine messages. Their relationship does not become constantly online, but much of the disappointment born of guesswork fades away.
