Story summary
Beside a seaside bench, Qin He reads an open letter from woodworker Qiao Sen opposing the indiscriminate carving of gathered driftwood, which tourists have misunderstood as a refusal to participate in the activity. Upon checking the event design, she discovers that permanent paint does indeed cause subsequent cleanup problems. The two switch to using recyclable hanging tags so participants can write down what they wish to leave behind, and a new cooperation plan is added to the open letter, turning their disagreement into a more thoughtful initiative.
