Story summary
Gu Yi and Cheng Yuan agreed to have one screen-free living room evening each week, initially preparing games and topics with great care, but after a few sessions, both began feeling anxious about how to spend it well. A forgotten shopping run caused their plans to fall through completely; sitting under the lamp, they simply sorted through old belongings on their own, which instead naturally led to conversations about recent difficulties. The two dropped the requirement that they must complete activities together, preserving a span of time where they could quietly coexist or initiate conversations as they wished.
