Shi Jianming (Shi Heilong), once the all-powerful leader of the martial alliance, now lives in seclusion among ordinary people with his wife Ye Jiao, seeking only a plain and peaceful life. Yet that tranquility is suddenly shattered when Feng Yihan of the Hanshan Sect and his mother come seeking revenge. More troublesome still, ability users from the mysterious organization "Shen Yin Bureau" seize the moment to intervene, using the chance to suppress traditional martial artists and driving Shi Jianming into desperate straits. He has no choice but to act again, facing head-on the Feng mother and son, Shen Yin Bureau experts Bai Ye and Zhao Tianyin, and even Yan Guichen, who appears later, along with other powerful enemies. Through a series of life-and-death battles, the conspiracies behind the various factions gradually come to light, and Yan Guichen even attempts to absorb his supernatural ability and take his life. Can Shi Jianming hold fast to his convictions amid the storm and protect the ones he loves? When everything comes to an end, the deepest longing in his heart is still to return to those simplest of days—but can this conflict over the ban on martial arts really be brought to a close so easily?
