Called a Gold Digger? He's My Uncle!

At Harrington University's honors ceremony for top freshmen, Lily steps on stage just as the big screen flashes her "flirty" chats with football captain Ethan: "Send me 500, I'm broke," "I'll crash at your place tonight." Student-union VP Madison publicly brands her a gold digger, and the whole school is stunned. Only Lily knows Ethan isn't her lover but her maternal uncle—a junior who made her promise never to call him uncle because it makes him sound old. With Ethan away at a game and unreachable for three days, Lily must face the humiliation alone and defend her name until he returns.
