When the Mooncakes Are Round, Hearts Are Revealed

Lin Yuebai, owner of the Guixiang bakery, insists on honest ingredients but cannot compete with rival Ma Chunmei's ruthless price-cutting, and is misunderstood by her neighbors and forced to move her shop. The vicious Ma Chunmei first sickens nursing-home residents with tainted mooncakes, then repackages six-year-old mooncakes as Guixiang gift boxes, poisoning a whole crew of Gu family workers and framing Lin Yuebai for it. Facing ruin, Lin Yuebai uses her kept samples and her friends' testimony to expose every lie and fight back for her shop's good name.
