Story summary
Ye He arrives at the bakery in the early morning ready to sign an expansion contract, but Xu Chuan brings out the actual working hours of recent months, pointing out that the existing team has long been overburdened and that the attractive revenue figures do not reflect all the costs. Recalculating wages and rest schedules, she decides to postpone the second shop and focus on operating the original store at a sustainable scale. Giving up the favorable lease terms at hand, the two are finally able to write weekly closing times into the schedule, returning their choices from mere figures back to daily life.
