Story summary
Jiang Ting travels to the seaside to organize creative materials and encounters Yu Heng beside the bench where she usually sits, carrying an apology letter that she once returned and which still remains unopened. Unwilling to repeat arguments over details, she listens as he also admits that written words cannot replace subsequent amends. The two only verify the unreturned art manuscripts; whether to read the letter is ultimately left to her own decision, and rebuilding their relationship is no longer conditioned on immediate forgiveness.
