Crispin Jafir is known for being a kind and gentle Alpha to his very small pack of only 30 werewolves. The Redstone Pack might as well be non-existent to most packs in the world. That is until one fateful day Crispin meets another alpha, named James, and he was invited to an alpha summit with the surrounding packs in the area to discuss a treaty between them. At the age of 24, there's not much hope that Crispin will ever find his mate, especially if she was not already in the pack. Dieter Romanoff is the most feared alpha in all of the world. He rules with an iron thumb. Known for his spree-killings, and torturous ways of life. Not only is it him, but his pack as well. All are known for their extreme measures and their strengths. No one dares to cross them. The pack Red Blood Moon, is also the biggest and strongest pack. It's almost as if they share one body, one mind. Many other packs look to them for guidance. At 28, Dieter has lost all hope that he will find his mate. He believes that it was a needed sacrifice to have the greatest back in the world. That is until Dieter and Crispin meet. It is then Dieter realized the true punishment of having a mate, especially a mate unknowing of his violent ways. A mate who seems to be the heaven, where he is hell. The sun, where is the moon, and the ground when he is falling. What will happen once these two very different Alphas cross paths? Will they accept each other for who they are? Will Dieter win his mate's heart? Or are they bound to lose? Find out and read now! ***I will warn you, this leans more towards a romantic tragedy than anything. It has themes that may be triggering to some people. Read with discretion. But know in the third book, right after, all will be made right!*** Alpha Series Book #2

### Chapter 1: Authors Note

Alpha Series Book #2! Read the first book to understand certain characters in this one.

Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this story!

I am so excited about these characters and this storyline! I hope you all enjoy it!

If you are here from The Alpha's Alpha then you already know who Dieter is, but you don't need to read that book before this one. There is no real order or crossover except a mention of the previous main characters in the other book.

If you don't know Dieter well you will!

I hope you all enjoy this book! It is filled with plot, angst, and smut of course.

A few housekeeping things:

Please grammar people, I try my absolute best to have it all edited correctly but my goodness it is hard to catch all of them.

Chapters will always have a warning of what's to come just in case you want to skip and it becomes to much.

In this book there will be a decent amount of violence depicted. So be warned.

But other than that please enjoy this book! I know I will! I am excited for you to read!!

Okay I will shut up now, please enjoy

### Chapter 2: Prologue

This story will not be written in the third person, only for the prologue.

Crispin is kind. No other alpha is known for their kindness. Though the Redstone pack was one of the smallest in the world, Crispin made it known because of his goodness. Every alpha he meets greets him with a warm welcome and looks to him for guidance.

At the ripe age of 24 and yet to find his mate within his small pack of only thirty members he has just a year left before he is betrothed to Rena. One of the only single werewolves in the pack. She is also 24 and has yet to find her mate. And because of its isolated location, it seems more and more likely every day that they will marry and Rena will become the Luna.

Crispin has a younger brother named Carter, with whom he is the primary caregiver. He is three years old and doesn't recognize that Crispin isn't his father. And Crispin will never tell her otherwise.

Their parent's death was no tragedy, they died from old age. Though it was sooner than expected. At the ages of 64, and 72. Both deaths were within a month of each other. No, Carter was not birthed by his mother. It was the duty of the alpha to help the single and mateless women in the pack to reproduce if there were no unmated males. Seeing as the pack was so small, that was a rarity.

Carter's birth mother died during childbirth, an unfortunate incident. Crispin's parents took him and raised him as their own until their death as well. Now Crispin was all he has left. But that didn't matter to him, he saw that boy and called him his son, and protected him like he was.

Crispin had deep brown hair, that sat sculpted on his head. He had deep green eyes with thick eyelashes that surrounded them and a sharp jawline to match the rest of his sharp features. He was a tall man, standing at 6'2 and sculpted build, and many were attracted to him. Though he was a father he never once dressed like it. Crispin was always admired for his cleanliness and how to put together he always looked.

Clothes never wrinkled, never caught in sweats or a T-shirt. And was always perfectly groomed. He was the golden boy of Alphas.

He is charming, kind, and funny.

Crispin was without any and all darkness.

The name Dieter instilled fear in all who heard it. He caused wolves to become paralyzed in their places. Just his presence was enough to make other wolves cower. The red blood moon was known as the most violent pack in the world. It is known that all wolves start training as warriors when they turn ten. All are fighters, all can and will protect themselves and the pack.

Every alpha avoided him at all costs and danced around him. Made sure to not say a word wrong or offend him in any way for they knew if they did it would result in their death.

At 28, he no longer imagined what life would be like with a mate, nor did he think he would have one. For there is always a price when it comes to power. To be ruthless you had to be cold. To be cruel you have to be void. To kill you couldn't appreciate life.

Dieter was not the originator of such practices for the pack, no his grandparents were. They were tired of being scared and decide to become the fear. His grandparents and parents were all strong mentally and physically. His grandparents were at the ripe age of 73, and 74. His parents were still thriving a the age of 54 and 56.

Regardless of what others think, if there is one thing that the Red Blood Moon pack values is family. There is no greater love than that. With a young sister Danielle, who was just as strong as him.

Danielle was the most feared woman, she admired her brother. She wanted to make him proud of her strength and her ability to protect. Though at the age of 23, she has yet to find a mate as well.

Dieter was known for being cold and off-putting to anyone outside his pack. Also because he was outrageously beautiful. He had long jet-black hair that was either down and cascaded on his shoulders or pulled back in a bun. He had hazel eyes that could see deeply into the souls he stared into. But many focused on the scar that went through his right eyebrow, his eye, and stopped in the middle of his cheek.

He was a beast of a man. He stood 6'5 and towered over many, with a body built by the goddess herself. With bulging muscles that showed through every tight T-shirt he wore. Though his clothing wasn't much, all his clothing consisted of jeans and T-shirts. Nothing more and nothing less, unless he was in the comfort of his own home.

He was ruthless, cold, and mean.

Dieter was void of any life.
